As stated here, the mission of our forums is to provide you with a knowledgeable and beneficial resource on the Coptic Orthodox Church, Coptic hymns and rites, and life as Copts generally.
We do our best to ensure this mission is fulfilled through moderation of the forums and the rules found here.
Nevertheless, it is important for all our visitors to understand that the individual posts and comments posted here are the responsibility of the posters themselves, and should be treated as such.
Unless we specifically say so, our posts are not intended to be the last word on Coptic Orthodox views, Coptic hymns and rites, or spirituality in the Coptic Church.
There will be times where the Holy Synod issues a decree to standardize hymns or rites in the church, which we will present as authoritative and final. But at other times, there may be differences in rites and hymns from one church/school to the other. This is normal. The goal of our discussions is to increase awareness so that we as a community may resolve these differences, not through force and calling each other wrong, but through awareness and spiritual discussion, so that we may strive towards unity in faith and practice.
We are happy you visit and/or contribute to these forums, which are growing by leaps and bounds as time passes, but we ask that you keep this disclaimer in mind as you benefit from and contribute to our discussions.
God bless you.
