Hello,
In this message, we announce a new way to guide discussions and moderate the Coptic forums here at the Coptic Media Network.
Previously, we utilized one admin to moderate all of our discussions, but with over 26,000 posts from thousands of members in our forums today, this way of doing things is outdated.
Consequently, we announce the new Forum Helpers program, in which we seek 3-5 dedicated individuals to monitor our forums and guide discussions whenever possible.
A Forum Helper will:
- + Guide current and new topics to make our discussions beneficial for everyone.
+ Close threads where necessary.
+ Interact with members to ensure nothing inappropriate is allowed in the forums.
+ Move topics to appropriate forums.
+ Merge two topics dealing with the same issue.
+ Split one topic into two or more topics where there are diverging thoughts in one topic.
We are now looking for two more, one female and one male, for a total of two female and two male forum helpers.
The qualification to be a Forum Helper is simply a dedication to our forums and a desire to see that discussions are beneficial to everyone who visits this network. You don't need any technical expertise, as the process is quite easy and requires very little training. This opportunity is especially beneficial, because you will be in charge of safeguarding the spirituality in these forums.
