hi everyone! i hope that yall all had a super summer!!! unfortunately [lol jk] the school year is coming to an...open... lol and our THIRD ANNUAL FRESHMAN POW WOW is comingggggg!!!!!!!!

"What is the Pow Wow?" you ask?

well, my friends, the Pow Wow is a get-together with all the new freshmen and the upperclassmen [NOT JUST AT FAMU--everyone at FSU and TCC and ANY NEWCOMERS WELCOME!!!] and it's a welcome-party!!! there will be food and plenty of resources if anyone needs advice with school, book-buying/borrowing, spirituality questions, anything!!!!

Last year we had about 60 youth show up... so lets up the number this year!!!

so, through the grace of God, this year the Pow Wow will take place the first day of classes-- Monday, 29 August at 7:00pm [tentatively] at St. Mary and St. George COC... CATERED by Mediterranean Grille!!! heehee and we're gonna have guest speakers like Dr. Magdi Soliman and Dr. Karam Soliman... we may get a couple professors to come and speak [maybe, maybe not lol] and of course the upperclassmen will be there to talk, too...

we need everyone to show up... NO excuses!! see you guys there! if you have any questions give me a holler!!! my # is 850/264.2167 okay guys i love you God bless

Sounds lovely, Mary!
I think it will be a success, God willing. We should just try to spread the word as much as possible through the weekend, and make sure Abouna announces it also.
