Hi everyone,

We have started a new forum to discuss spiritual books - the classics, and some new ones you may not have encountered.

We'll start with a few books that are quick-reading and narrative, and then move on from there. Please PM me with any suggestions.

The first book we will start off with is "Father Arseny, 1893-1973: Priest, Prisoner, Spiritual Father", which may be purchased from bn.com or amazon.com or orthodoxbookstore.org, among other places.

Many people on this site can attest to how wonderful this book is. (I personally refused to read it when it was first recommended to me, because I have a bookcase of untouched books, but when I finally caved in, I kicked myself for not having read it sooner!) I'll give people a week to order the book, and then we'll begin a discussion of the first several chapters.

Next book on deck will be CS Lewis' classic, "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", just in time for the December movie. Very Happy

Please keep me in your prayers,
cb
