Good one, but no its still pronounced the correct way of AVA....

This is quite interesting; I'm not familiar with GB rules. They seem overly complex and confusing. Never the less, the interesting aspect about this discussion is that in Greek the "B" is pronounced as a "v" nearly all the time. For example, the name Jacob in Greek is pronounced as "Iakovos", breaking the GB rule of B's in proper names. Just a thought.
