Dear all,
i want to answer some of your questions.
In our church, we cna record services very easily, because we have a wire from the main mixer that can go eaisly into any mp3 player. However, Abouna Antonious rarely does a Gregorian liturgy by himself, and it is true that he does not like it when we record him. I am not sure why, but during Lent, someone told me to record one of the liturgies because it was going to be Gregorian, so i tried to record it. Unfortunately, with the italk for the ipod, the wire going into the mp3 player must be a mono wire and not a stereo wire. Therefore, i had to convert it into mono before i could record it though my ipod. Unfortunately, i did not kno this at the time, and recorded it, but it was horrible quality. It was an amazing liturgy to say the least and it was during Lent. I'm sorry bout this, but i will talk to Abouna and see if he will do one maybe during lent like last year. However, there are no guarantees he will allow us to record him.
