Thanks to all who responded. This was of great help. May God bless your efforts so that you may continue to share your knowledge with our community and the world. You've sparked in me the desire to delve deeper into our rich coptic language. God Bless and NOFRI SHAI! Smile

Hey everyone..
srry this took a while.. but I just read the thread now.. neway, for those interested in the song (nofri pe) in English.. I took the liberty of translating the arabic words found on the oringinal text.. srry if its not perfect anf feel free to correct me.. but here is what I got...

Happy is the day of your birth… happy is the day of your birth…
Blessed are you on the day of your birth… blessed are you on the day of your birth…
We celebrate with you... We rejoice with you… we congratulate you… and we tell you…
May your days be long on Earth… May you live your life in pride…
May your thinking be above the clouds…and your works be in heaven…
May your heart rejoice in the words of the Lord… and your tongue utter his praise…

YSIC
( I just made that up.. ur sis. in Christ Razz)

Martina
