I am going through a very hard time in my life. I am about to go take the GMATs and I am having alot of problems at home. My mother wants me to move out and I have no where to go. I am living at home because I do not make much money and I am struggling. Please pray for me that I do well on the GMATs and that my mom does not throw me out of the house and I do not have to end up having to live on the streets. I do not want to end up homeless.

Don't worry Noosa. If God wills, you will pass and do well and you will not leave your house. Pray about it and keep in mind that He will not leave you through this hard time that you are going through. Just study and do your job and if God wills you will pass. Leave it on Him.

My advice: Get a better job and move out.

I am going thorugh a lot of the same stuff that you are going through, believe me. I have found that just keeping your peace is the most important thing to do. I have also found that the only way for me to keep my peace is to move out; which exactly what I'm in the process of doing.

I do not want to move out of the house, because I can not afford to. It is that my mom wants me to move because her friends are influencing her to make me move out. She is following the wrong people who are giving her the wrong advice.

I can't say I relate to what you're going through, but try taking a different approach. Try showing her that you don't depend on her and that just because you're living with her, it doesn't mean you're irresponsible. Maybe part of the reason she wants you to move out is to gain independence. Offer to be responsible for a certain amount of the mortgage each month and to help out around the house. Try and find out what makes the children of your mother's friends (the ones who are influencing her) different than you. This can give you a clue as to what your mother is looking for in you.

moving out the house is not a bad idea , .. however u must check your reasons for it ..... your independance ? ... to get back at your parents to show them " i dont need u mommy and daddy !"
or for our own reasons ... u want to be able to grow and experience new life styles ....

If you wake up in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? ( figartively speaking of course. )

anyways anyways , money is an issue . find out the real reasons she wants u to move out . tell her " who will benifit most ? me or you , or both of us ? .... will we grow apart ? ... will i feel betrayed by u ..? ... can i come back home ?

i feel that we shouldent move out the house especailly if ur a woman , until u get married . or until your finacially secure to .

I help her with the rent and the bills. Also, I am bearly home cause i work to make what ever pennies I can make and go to class late to do well on my exam. Life is not easy you know.
