Hey guys,
->I was recently reading the Gospel of Luke and I came across the geneaology of our Lord. As Luke recounts it, Joseph was the son of "Heli" but as Matthew recounts it, Joseph was the son of Jacob. Then it just goes downhill from there as there are mnay different names in different places. So whats going on?

there are many more to come. but i cant seem to remember them, if you guys caqn please help me out n ill post the other ones soon.

Thank you
Ray

thanks peter.. i remembered another question
I was reading the senaxarium and i came acros saint barbra. It said that she was baptized by origen... origen was not a priest so how could this happen

Secondly.. if a coptic priest baptizes someone and than later becomes a heretic, does the baptized person lose their baptism as they were baptized by a heretic?

Thanks alot
ray
