Father Mattias recorded the lamentations in arabic. And Fr. Barsoum recorded the 6th and 9th litanies in Coptic.

As for the other question for the lamentations, buy the production and find out It'll be the wisest decision you ever made !

Ya David! Are you sure you are talking about Fr. Daniel or are you refering to that recording of Fr. Isiah the muharraqi?

As for why the tune by Fr. Isiah is not used...I have no clue

No it is not. All it says is here is the hymn by Hegumen Wadee3 Matta. I know that, but where did he get this from? And what about Fr. Daniel's version?

Yes it is. The recorded tradition refers to the material recorded and which is not only in the sources CDs, but also in Mlm. Mikhail collection on coptichymns.net; and the oral tradition refers to the what his disciples say they learnt from him. So, yes, it is justified. Why do you think it wouldn't be?
