Blessed Lent,

Do you guys chant this in the annual tune or in the Kiahk way of Adam of Kiahk that Mlm Faheem chants? I know abuna anastasi and some others in lent says it the mlm faheem way, but I heard some others chant it annual? would love to hear you guys opinion as to how you chant it!

Well, tunes for kiahk and lent tend to be somewhate connected to each other. If you recall hymns like, alel a3sr, aretenthonty, and more (just cant think right now); they are said during these fasts. Also lets not forget that muallem faheem is a disciple of muallem mikhail and is a very good source to learn from. I think it is correct to say it in this tune...even though i think its an ugly tune Razz

Hey guys,

Do you think you could show me an example of this chanted in Mlm Faheem's Kiahky way?

Thanks,
Mike

The tune for Kiahk is also the tune for Lent, that is a known fact. Its not just a teaching of Mllm. Faheem Smile

Really? I know that Mlm Tawfik, Mlm Farag, and Ibo recorded the Adam in annual tune specifically for Kiahk, so what sources justify the kiahk tune as lenten tune? Love to hear opinions, thoughts, facts, etc.

I am actually unable to confirm what I said with sources, I feel foolish hehe. it is just something I always knew/took for granted.

Can anyone confirm with any sources?
