I was watching a TV show of how Jesus passed away when he was crucified. As the forensic scientist was explaining it, I broke into tears. In fact, I am sort of crying as write this. When the Romans beat and tortured him, that lead to a bruise on his heart and the muscle on the area to weaken. In other words, the torture cause Jesus to have an aneurysm in his heart. Also while they were beating him, he bled perfusely to the point that it damaged his organs. Then up on the cross, his he was in extreame pain. When he was nailed to the cross, it hit nerves in his ankles and hand, which is so painful. He was breathing heavily on the cross cause his week heart to pump very fast and over work. As a result, fluid built up in the sack surounding his heart and his lungs. The moment that Jesus knew that he was going home to baba, the aneurysm bursted. Although there was a whole in his heart, it continued to pump. But soon after, it stop and he went home. This is something you all should think about if you decide to not listen to Jesus. Never forget who much he loved, He is the only person who loved us so much to the point that he suffered like this.

The below website is a pathology report of how Jesus suffered and die for us. I forgot to add that while he was carrying the cross to where is he going to be crucified, that was when he fell and briused his heart. He fell because he was so badly beaten and tortured to the point that he was bleeding so bad and his internal organ, like his lungs and kidndeys, were badly damaged. His body was in a state of shock while he was carrying the cross. He went threw this out of love for all of us. As I read this I started to cry.

This is really besides the point, but I think it's more proper if you don't use language like "the moment that Jesus knew that he was going home to baba." Also, it's good practice to capitalize "He" when talking about Him.

Like I said, it's besides the point.

Logico is right, He laid his life down for us on his own account and could have prevented it so i don't like to say that there was a specific cause of death but just to say that when HE let his spirit depart from his body, not because he knew the time of his death but because he himself chose to die does that make sense?

That's not what I was getting at, I just didn't like the language "to his baba." We're talking about our Lord Christ and God the Father, we shouldn't use language a child uses with his earthly father.

He was fully human, so I have no problem saying there was a specific cause of death, whether it was shock or something else.

People should read and see this. I was watching a program about on the history channel and I was explain it to a little 5 year old girl. Only because she asked me about what she was watching. I just got so involved with her that I started talking baby talk. I love children alot and I am very maternal. Seriously, people should hear about this. I am thinking of suggesting this topic for a youth meeting cause I think it will make a difference in young people's lives. It will hopefully stear them the right way. Many teenagers and young people make the mistake and choose get involved with the wrong people. Many times these people do not care about them and they suffer later on. Most people on this earth are your friends cause they want something from you. Taking advantage of others to get want one wants on earth is the nature of the beast. However, Jesus is the only person who lived among us that cares about us. He is the only person who loves us so much to that point that he made the choice to suffer and die a horrible painful death on our behalf. No one should ever forget this.

I didn't say people shouldn't know this. Unless this site is primarily accessed by 5 year olds, I don't see how that language should spill over.

On the merits, I agree with you this is a very important topic. If all of us just remember Christ crucified and how excruciating it was, and the fact that He went through it even though He could have gotten out of it, we'll feel that whatever sin we are contemplating should lead to our condemnation.

Because he did this, we can all go to paradise if we die. Everyone still has a chance, as long as they believe in him, even though we all sin. He saved each and every one of us.

Yes, that's why I said "should" not will.

Also doctors are conducting studies, using volunteers, to see what affect crusifixion has on the human body. They have crusified cadavors, by nailing them to a cross. Also they are using people to volunteer and be hooked up to the cross. The difference that the live volunteers have an ace bandage around their wrists with hooks that get hooked to the cross. Plus they have machines connect to the volunteer to monitor their heart rate and breathing. They cannot really crucify someone legally because it would be torture and murder to the person. I wish that they had a study like this in the NYC area because I would volunteer. I would like to see what Jesus went through for us. It would be a very good idea to see what Jesus went through to drive the message home.

i actually saw this same show on the Discovery channel or History Channel. It was really heart touching to watch, I like how they didn't just assume, but of course did a lot of research on the tradition and logistics of crucification along with what we know about Christ, to give such a detailed report about our salvation. I suggest if its on again for everyone to give it a look!
