okay , before every hos ( 1,2,3,4 )) there are psalis
for example for the first hoss , here is an excerpt of the psali :

Keep me O Lord, by Your Support, and grant me Salvation, through prayer and fasting.
Sow within us, a true vine, without corruption, through prayer and fasting

IVE WENT to 2 churches during lent for midnight praises and i still am unable to find a church that says the psalis for the hoss's during great lent..... i want to learn them so i can say them in my church . i know a person whose been to many churches in search of ways to say the psalis , and yet no churches have said them .

Also , is the Great HOSS for lent in the same tune as the kiahk tune , since its formatted similarly , and ends in alleluia the same way . ?

Also , the readings or expositions during midnight praises for great lent .... r there any ? , when do we say them in the mid night praise ?

So far , i am in need of the following tunes :::::

Psali for 1,2,3,4, hoss ( i have the text , but i need someone to tell me how its sung or give me a media clip )

Psali Watos on Teoi enhekanos (8th Part)

Psali Adam on the Sunday Theotokia

Psali Watos on the Commemoration

Psali Watos on the Doxologies

: PS : - I know how to say the doxologies during lent , i knwo the tune , do i follow that tune for any of the hymns listed above ? Thanks !

ezayek ya tony ya habibi? Anyway, to be honest with you, i am also unaware of these psalies. I usually say the psali that is said after the fourth hoos and this is what i was taught, however; i was not informed about the others you are mentioning. The adam psali that is said after the fourth hoos with starts off with "Aioush" or "I cried with my voice" is said in the tune of aikoty or anahty. The watos psali like "amouni" or "come let us fast" is said in the afti emeponof tune or "remembering your holy name...pachoice isoos pikhristos." As for the great hoos, yes it is the same tune. Many hymns for kiahk can be applied to great lent such as the one you mentioned, as well as alel a3sr, and aretenthonty and more. There is also an exposition which can be said in the midnight praise and the vesper praise.

Hey Tonyhabibi,

St. Mary's COC in East Brunswick does the Psalis. If you live too far, you can go to their website (http://www.stmary.net) and watch their live streaming (http://live.saint-mary.net/livefeed.htm) Saturday night. Wink

Pray for me,
Mike Henry

We say the Psali's in tallahassee. God willing if I can remember to bring my recorder I will record it and will upload it for you to download. Pray for my weaknesses. God bless.
