I came across an article in Mighty arrows magazine bu SUS diocese, and it was talking about teh Jesus prayer and it said to visualise Jesus infront of you. But in the way of the Pilgrim and other articles on the net it says not to use any imagery or visualisation at all.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

For the true aim of the Christian life is the acquisition of the Holy Spirit of God. As for fasts, vigils, prayer and almsgiving, and other good works done in the name of Christ, they are only means of acquiring the Holy Spirit of God.
