From David_the_King:No, not true. Pinishti is said anytime. It should be said during every liturgy, but most churches say it when one of the saints mentioned has a feast on that day.
Let me clarify what I should have said. It is true that it can be said annually but at the discretion of the priest (if there's time is the most common issue) but most churches say it when there's a feast for a saint listed in the hymn. thank you for clarifying what I should have said.
