Low Self Esteem

Hey Noosa,
Use that weak moment in your life to latch on to something strong which is Christ the true Corner stone of our lives. Perhaps that weakness is there for you to pursue true strength which no one can take away from you. That's how God draws us to him sometimes. He'll allow for weakness so that we may pursue true strength.
"...for when I am weak, then I am strong" 2 Corinthians 12:10
Pray, and present your problems to Christ as a little child speaks to her father.
"...how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" Matthew 7:11

Terminate your esteem, and the Risen Christ will raise up a new and glorified Esteem in the Omnipotent, and the Spirit will yearn in you once again and shout: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Phillipians 4:13)
The prayers of the Saints and all those who have conquered be with you.
God Bless you Noosa

Compassion of God
There were two monks who committed a very serious sin when they went to the village to sell their wares. But they were wise enough not to let the devil trick them into discouragement and so they came back to the desert and went to the Abba to confess their sins. To ease them into their conversion, they were asked to go and live on their own for one month on bread and water, to pray and do penance. When the time was over, Abba himself came over to reunite them with the disciples. However he was very surprised because one came out grim, downcast, pale while the other was radiant, buoyant and brisk. "What did you meditate upon?" Abba asked. The sad monk answered : "I thought constantly on the punishment which I merit and the justice of God". The happy monk answered : "Well, I used to remind myself constantly the mercy of God and the love which Jesus Christ had for the sinner." Both of them were joyfully accepted back in the community but Abba remarked on the wisdom of the brother who kept his mind fixed on the compassion of God.

Noosa,
I have a question for you. who did Jesus die for?
Did he not die for you and me? you must be precious in his eyes; otherwise he wouldn't have died for you. Also, did he not say: "my father and my mother have forsaken me but the Lord has accepted me unto himself"? if accepted unto himself, then you are in the company of Him and his Saints.
From Noosa_1978:Pray for me, I am suffering from very low self esteem which is paralysing me.

the devil constantly harms people so that they will blame God for what he has done and turn away
he can't heal the hurt he does, only hurt people
God heals the hurts, but if people believe the devil instead of God then for every hurt God heals the devil inflicts two more
do not give in to the devil - he hates you and wants you to die in pain and sorrow, cut off from God
God bless you

Noosa,
the devil is always reminding me of bad things others have done to me, things I have forgiven
I know that he is a liar, and that even when he tells the truth he does it for a bad purpose
he wants me to get angry over the bad things and renounce my forgiveness - so I ignore the things he tells me and rebuke him with the Lord
be like the monk who dwelled on the Lord's mercy and compassion, and let that replace your sorrow with his Joy - rejoice in him and pay no heed to the devil's gossip and idle talk
forgive and be freed
God bless you

Noosa,
You are a beautiful person, and you probably ask how I can say that without even knowing you. You are reaching out to your fellow Christian in a moment of weakness/sadness, and this is what true fellowship is about. Sometimes it is hard to bounce back from whatever predicament you get in and people will tell you God is there and just think about all He did for you and start mentioning stories and verses. That's good maybe for a monk, but most people I know don't bounce back by just hearing these words. God gave us another way to experience Him though and to be happy which is seeing Him in our friends. No matter how down you feel in life I can guarantee there is at least one person in your life that truly cares for you and smiles when they see u and does so much for u. God puts one of these friends in each one of our lives and sometimes we either take them for granted or don't even realize they've been there all along. So def give that friend a call and show them how much you appreciate their presence in your life, and God will grant you peace of heart and show u how much He loves you through this friend. May peace and strength dwell in your heart my sister.

Noosa,
I don't doubt tha you are hurting badly. One strategy i found useful whenever a person hurt me and that is to offer the wrong that I suffered, and its memory, as a sacrifice to God for my sins. I will say, let it be for me a share in your cross, so that I may rejoice in your resurrection. amen. soon enough the devil will stop reminding you, and then you will love those who hurt you.
may god grants you his kingdom for the suffering you endured. amen.
From Noosa_1978:I had stuff happen to me that makes me have low self esteem. If I was to tell you, you would cry. I am working on it slowly.
