I was laid off from my job, in January exactly a week after christmas and I have been having difficulty finding another job. I have been sending out many resumes a day and I have not even gotton a call about my resume. I am a Financial Analyst. I am worried that I am not going to be able to pay my rent and bills. Therefore I am going to be evicted and homeless on the street. My unemployment is running out and I am getting to the point that I am even cleaning people's apartments to earn a little money just to try to pay my bills. I am also suffiering from Type 1 diabetes and I am scare that I am not going to be able to pay for my medical insurance or my medications. I have even considered applying for welfare. I have always been ashamed to ask people for help and I do not want to. I want to work and make a living. That is why I went to college and got my degree. Please pray for me that I find a job very soon, so that I can survive.

May God help you and deliver you from this affliction. We will pray for you. You can also recite this prayer:

“Almighty God, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, come to my help and deliver me from this difficulty that besets me. I believe Lord that all trials of life are under Your care and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Take away from me fear, anxiety, and distress. Help me to face and endure my difficulty with faith, courage, and wisdom. Grant that this trial may bring me closer to You for You are my rock and refuge, my comfort and hope, my delight and joy. I trust in Your love and compassion. Blessed is Your Name, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.”

Please let us know when you find a position that we may join you in giving thanks and glorifying God for His mercy and compassion.

Well I am now doing some temp work, which is better than nothing and I have gotten many responses for my resume and I am in the process of setting up some interviews. I have even went to career services at NYU, which is were I went to college and a good friend of mine helped me fix up my resume to look better. I have also applied for a job in a hotel that is opening up in my neighborhood. I went on my first interview on this job. It has been very hard because I am a Financial Analyst and the market is in deep trouble because the stock market is down. I am also thinking of retaking the GMATs so that I can get an MBA, which will increase my chances in the future. It may be hard but I refuse to give up. The devil may want me to give up but I am not giving in to him. I know that eventually something will come up. I know that God will take care of me. So now, I am going to just keep on praying and asking my team of saints for help. I know that something will come up. This world is a major jungle and we need to survive in this huge jungle and sometimes it is hard to survive in this urban jungle. Sometimes it rains and when it rains, it pours.

Hi Noosa_1978,

Please don't despair. Be patient and pray hard. God will provide for you. Don't worry at all. It takes time to find the right job.

I can feel your anguish and pain. Wait on the Lord and I am sure that He will do something really glorious for you. You will really thank Him for it. It is written that "All things are done for the good for those who love the Lord".

BE Very Happy

God bless you.
