On Tuesday 1st June, 2010 a meeting of the Council of Oriental Orthodox Churches in the UK and Ireland took place. The meeting was hosted by the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church at the Nevart Gulbenkian Hall of the St. Sarkis Church in Kensington, London.
The meeting was attended by a good representation of members of the Council from all of the member Churches, including H.E. Metropolitan Seraphim, H.E. Archbishop Athanasius, H.G. Bishop Angaelos and Father Vahan Hovhanessian, the Primate of the Armenian Church in the UK. Many priests attended as representatives of their Churches.
The Council discussed a number of matters of common interest and concern, and shared news and requests for prayer from their own communities.
