Tiparthenos: Hymn for Kiahk Weekday Communion

This hymn, recorded by an obscure Alexandrian cantor, and resurrected by HCOC Director, Albair Gamal Mikhail, is chanted during Holy Communion on weekday liturgies in the Coptic month of Kiahk.

The fruit of your womb, came and saved the world, and He abolished all enmity, and granted us peace.

A name of pride is your name, O kinsman of Emmanuel. You are great amongst all saints, O John the baptist.
